Love Earns First OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week for 2011-12

Murray State indoor track and field junior Alexis Love has had a great start to the 2011-12 campaign, as she has earned the first adidas Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week for the 2011-12 season.
The Palmetto, Fla., native broke her own school record at the Saluki Fast Start by winning the 60 with a time of 7.57. She also won the 200 in the same meet with a time of 24.81. Both times are the best in the OVC so far this season.
The Racers return to action Jan. 13-14 when they travel back to Carbondale, Ill., for the SIU Open.
