Indoor Track & Field Returns to Action at SIU Open

After over a month break, the Murray State women's indoor track & field team will return to the track at the SIU Open in Carbondale, Ill., Jan. 13-14. This is the second of three indoor meets being hosted by the Salukis this season, with the Racers participating in all three, including the opening Saluki Fast Start (Dec. 3).

MSU will be one of 13 women's teams at the meet that also features teams from the Missouri Valley, Atlantic Sun and Ohio Valley Conference member, Southeast Missouri.

The Racers will be looking to improve on several personal-best performance from Dec. 3. Recent adidas OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week, Alexis Love, will also look to improve on her new school record in the 60 (7.57) that she set at the Saluki Fast Start.
