Love Earns Second OVC Female Track Athlete of the Week Honor

Murray State junior track & field sprinter, Alexis Love has been named the Jan. 24 adidas Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week. The award is the second for Love this season.
The Palmetto, Fla., native continues to dominate the sprints and the OVC Bests List. She won the 60-meter dash in 7.54 at the Illini Classic, breaking her own MSU record, and placed third in the 200-meter dash in 24.89. Love is at the top of both events OVC Best List.
The Racers will next compete in the Rod McCravy Invitational hosted by Kentucky, Jan. 27-28 in Lexington, Ky.
