Pratt Named OVC Female Field Athlete of the Week

Murray State women's track & field freshman Tonia Pratt has been named the adidas Ohio Valley Conference Female Field Athlete of the Week for Feb. 14 after her performance for the Racers at the Hoosier Hills Invitational.
Pratt competed in both the weight throw and the shot put, taking second in the weight throw with a distance of 16.94m (55'7”) and ninth in the shot put with a toss of 12.62m (41'5”). Her weight throw mark tops the OVC Bests List.
The Racers will next be in action, Feb. 24-25 at the 2011-12 OVC Indoor Championship in Nashville, Tenn.
