Women’s Tennis Falls to Northern Iowa

The Murray State women's tennis team fell to Northern Iowa, 7-0, at the Buck Bouldin Tennis Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
The Racers (4-6) were led by freshman Carolyn Huerth, who forced three sets and a tie-breaker third-set at No. 5 singles. Huerth fell 6-4 in the opening set to Krissy Lankelma before fighting back to earn the 6-2 win in the second set. In the deciding set the pair fought to a 7-6 (14-12) decision in favor of Lankelma.
MSU will return to the court, Friday, March 15 for a 10 a.m. match against Memphis in Martin, Tenn.
