Racer Dance Party Scheduled For Selection Sunday At Racer Arena

Murray State athletics is inviting all fans to help the Racers celebrate their 15th NCAA Tournament selection at the 2012 Racer Dance Party Sunday, March 11, at Racer Arena.
Doors to the festivities will open at 3:30 p.m. and admission is free. Stampede members who wear this year's shirt will be allowed in at 3:15 p.m. All fans are encouraged to wear gold and bring signs for the festivities.
Murray State players and coaches will be available from 3:30-4:30 for autographs and pictures. A reminder to fans that daylight savings time begins Saturday night, so 'spring forward' prior to Selection Sunday.
Children who collected Racer Bucks throughout the season can redeem for prizes if they did not do so at the final home game.
The 'Voice of the Racers' Neal Bradley will be talking with players, coaches and special guests in a live radio remote on Froggy 103.7.
The Racer Band will be on hand, playing everyone's favorite game-day songs, with appearances by Dunker, Air Dunker, the Racer Girls and cheerleaders.
Fans will have opportunities to purchase their favorite Racer gear from the University Store, and will have a chance to win prizes through give aways and contests.
At 5 p.m., the NCAA Tournament selection show on CBS will be broadcast as the Racers will learn their opponent and seeding for their second round game.
