Racer Basketball Fans Invited To Saturday Scrimmage

Murray State Basketball fans will get a special opportunity to see the Racers scrimmage and then get autographs from the NCAA Tournament bound squad Saturday at the CFSB Center.
Fans are invited to come out to the CFSB Center Saturday at 11 a.m. for this free event. The team will go through a short warm up and then scrimmage starting at 11:45 a.m. At approximately 12:30 p.m., fans will have the chance to meet the team and get autographs.
“We appreciate the great support that we get from the Murray State fans and this is just another way to say thanks,” MSU Head Coach Steve Prohm said. “I hope the fans will take advantage of this opportunity to come out and see the team before we go into Selection Sunday.”
The Racers (30-1) have had this week off from games after they won the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship last Saturday which qualified them for their 15th trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Fans are also encouraged to head over to Reagan Field from the CSFB Center where the Murray State Baseball team will be hosting Purdue starting at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Racer Dance Party is Sunday at Racer Arena at 3:30 p.m. Fans are invited to the free event which culminates with the announcement of the NCAA pairings at 5 p.m. on CBS television. The event runs until 6 p.m.
