Track & Field Returns To Action At Hilltopper Invitational

Murray State women's track & field returns to action after a weekend off, traveling to Bowling Green, Ky., to participate in the 2012 Hilltopper Relays.

The Racers are one of 13 women's teams participating in Saturday's event, along with fellow OVC-members Eastern Illinois, Southeast Missouri and SIU Edwardsville.

Field events kick off at 9:30 Saturday morning, and conclude at 6:30 p.m. with the women's discus.

Running events will start at noon with a rolling start.

MSU is coming off of a number of strong finishes at the Ole Miss Invitational two weeks ago, where the day was highlighted by Alexis Love taking first place in both the 100m and 200m, and Tonia Pratt setting a new school record of 147'11'' in the discus.
