Alexis Love Named adidas OVC Track Student Athlete of the Week

Alexis Love has been named adidas OVC Track Athlete of the Week after her performance at the Hilltopper Relays, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Love took first place in both the 100m and 200m in Bowling Green this past Saturday. The Palmetto, Fla., native broke her own personal best with an 11.37 in the 100m, which leads the OVC this season. She won the 200m by nearly a second, finishing .98 ahead of second place in 23.26.
The Racers return to action this weekend, participating Friday and Saturday at the Vanderbilt Invitational in Nashville, Tenn.
