Arthur Valle Named All-OVC First Team

Murray State men's tennis sophomore Arthur Valley was named to the All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team when the selections for the 2012 team were announced Thursday evening at the OVC awards gathering at the Holliday Inn-Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn.
“I'm very proud of Arthur for the season that he put together,” MSU Head Coach Mel Purcell said. “He played No. 1 for use most of the season and he had a lot of tough matches. I'm very happy with the way he's worked since coming in as a freshman to get better. He has improved since his first season and he's very deserving of being named to the All-OVC Team.”
Valley was 7-8 as the Racers' No. 1 singles player this spring and he posted six wins as a doubles player.
