Canaan Named MSU Athletics Pepsi Athlete Of The Week.

Murray State senior men's basketball player Isaiah Canaan was named the MSU Athletics Pepsi Athlete of the Week for the period of Dec. 27-Jan. 2.
Canaan scored a game-high 24 points in MSU's game with Valparaiso (Dec. 29) on 8-of-21 shots which included 3-of-9 from three-point range.
He also added a game-high six assists in MSU's 66-64 loss to the Crusaders.
Canaan's 21.2 scoring average ranks him 10th in the national among NCAA D-I players.
