The No. 10 Racer Rifle team will host their second tri-match in as many weeks. Coming off last week's victory over Morehead State and Columbus State, the Racers will welcome a pair of top-10 teams to Pat Spurgin Rifle Range in No. 3 Jacksonville State and No. 4 TCU.
Murray State has been led by a number of key returners and sharp freshman. All-American Kelsey Emme has held at least a share of the team's top score in two of the Racers' three matches.
Freshmen Katarina Bisercic and Jack Berhorst have also been top scorers for the Racers this year. Bisercic's 1161 aggregate score in last weekend's tri-match is tied for this season's high score. Berhorst's 576 smallbore is tied for second on the team this year.Â
TCU won the NCAA Championship in 2011-12 and finished in first place in smallbore and third overall at last year's championship. Jacksonville State also participated in last year's NCAA Championship, finishing in eighth place and won the OVC crown.
The tri-match gets underway at 8 a.m. with the first recorded shots beginning at 8:15 a.m.
