Sisk Named OVC Co-Freshman of the Week

Murray State's Erika Sisk was named as the adidas® OVC Co-Freshman of the Week for games played Jan. 29 to Feb. 4, the league announced on Tuesday. Also honored with Sisk was SIU Edwardsville freshman CoCo Moore.

Sisk led the Racers in their lone game last week, a win over Austin Peay, with 19 points, while also adding two rebounds and three assists. The Oxford, Miss., native shot 38.8 percent from the field in the game, while also notching two 3-pointers and a trio of free throws.

This marks the eighth time this season that Sisk has won the award, more than any other league freshman. She has also now claimed the honor for five consecutive weeks.

Sisk and her teammates will close out non-conference play on Wednesday when they travel to New Orleans. Tip-off from Lakefront Arena is scheduled for 5 p.m.
