Canaan NBA Draft Watch Underway In Biloxi

Surrounded by family and friends, former Murray State men's basketball All-America Isaiah Canaan is in his hometown of Biloxi, Miss., tonight to watch the 2013 NBA Draft.
Expected to be a late first round or early second round selection, Canaan is watching the draft unfold in the gymnasium of his alma mater, Biloxi High School.
ESPN is carrying the NBA Draft live and it can also be see on Watch ESPN.
By the end of the night, Canaan is expected to be the 21st Murray State player to be drafted by the NBA and the first since 1996 when Marcus Brown was selected in the second round by the Portland TrailBlazers.
If Canaan gets picked in the first round, he'll be the first in MSU Basketball history to be so honored.
MSU Head Coach Steve Prohm is attending the event in support of Canaan.
Up the road in Birmingham, Ala., MSU's Ed Daniel is also hoping his name gets called by an NBA team before the night is over.
