The Murray State women's basketball team will face Evansville Wednesday Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. at the CFSB Center. This marks the 32nd meeting between the Purple Aces and the Racers. MSU holds a 19-12 advantage over UE, and also goes into the game with a three-game winning streak at the Bank.

The Racers ended 0-2 in the Ball State Federal Credit Union Thanksgiving Classic with losses to Ball State and Jackson State. Against Ball State, Ke'Shunan James was one rebound short of a double-double with team-highs of 20 points and nine rebounds, while Keiona Kirby added 13 points. Netanya Jackson followed James in rebounds with eight, despite the Racers being outrebounded by 10. When facing Jackson State, four Racers scored in double-digits in the loss. Keiona Kirby led the team with 22 points, with LeAsia Wright adding 12 points. Netanya Jackson and Ke'Shunan James were one rebound away from a double-double with Jackson adding 10 points, and James recording 17 points. The team was outrebounded by 5, and committed seven more turnovers in the loss. They shot .384 from the floor while shooting .267 from behind the arc.

Evansville has started their 2014-15 campaign 1-4. Their one win came against Austin Peay while they took losses to Southern Indiana, Ball State, IPFW, West Virginia and UT Martin. The Purple Aces have three players that are averaging in double figures. Mallory Ladd averages 18.0, while Sara Dickey and Khristian Hart are averaging 17.8 and 11.4, respectively. The Purple Aces are shooting .377 along with .303 behind the arc.
