The Breds hit the road for the first time this season as they travel to UT Martin for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series on March 14-16. The series is set to get underway at 6 p.m. Friday, and continue with a 4 p.m. first pitch Saturday and a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

The Breds won their first OVC-opening series since they defeated Samford to open OVC play in 2007.
Downey Runs Scoreless Streak to 13
Junior Brock Downey tossed seven shutout innings against Morehead State and has now thrown 13-straight scoreless innings. Going back further, Downey has allowed just one earned run over his last three starts, spanning 20.1 innings.
