The Breds continue their five-day road trip as they travel to Jacksonville State for a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series on April 11-13. The series is set to get underway Friday at 6 p.m., and continue with a 1 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and Sunday.

The Gamecocks have had the upper hand in the series winning six of the last seven meetings. MSU is 6-10 in games played in Jacksonville, winning the series in 2004 and 2010.
Getting Healthy
Murray State has had a rash of injuries this season. The teams seems to be getting healthy at the right time. Luke Daugherty made his return to the lineup against Ole Miss. Kollin Dowdy returned to the lineup a couple weeks ago after missing a month, and Michael Hargrove is back after missing two weeks.
Dowdy Delivers Big Hit
Kollin Dowdy get the Breds going against Ole Miss as he ripped a two-run double just inside the bag at first to give MSU a 2-0 lead. In his seven games back from injury, he is hitting .323 (10-for-31) with four doubles, nine RBIs and five runs scored.
Five-Day Road Trip
The Breds will embark on their longest road trip of the season as they will leave Wednesday and return Sunday. After the game at Ole Miss on Wednesday, the team will travel directly to Jacksonville, Ala. for their three-game weekend series at Jacksonville State.
