The Breds step out of Ohio Valley Conference action as they travel to face Ohio State in a three-game series on April 18-20. The series is scheduled to get underway Friday at 5:35 p.m., and continue with a 2:05 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 12:05 p.m. first pitch Sunday.

The Breds and Buckeyes are meeting for the first time on the diamond. MSU is 76-52-2 all time against the Big 10. Most recently, the Breds hosted Purdue in a three-game series in 2012. Of the 130 games against the Big 10, 55 have come against the Boilermakers.

The Breds hit the road for a non-conference series at Ohio State April 18-20. The series gets underway at 5:35 p.m. Friday.
Weekend Weather
The weather for the weekend series is expected to be nice. Temps will be in the mid-60s during the day on Friday, low 60s on Saturday and nearly 70 for Sunday's game.

The Breds and Buckeyes are meeting for the first time on the diamond. MSU last played a team from the Big 10 in 2012, when they hosted Purdue.
Playing in the Buckeye State
The Breds will be traveling to the state of Ohio for just the second time in history. The first visit helped just one year ago when a weekend series against Morehead State was moved to Mason, Ohio, due to field conditions.
Off and Running
Murray State has picked up its game on the base paths as the Breds have stolen eight bases in the last eight games. Prior to that, MSU had just 19 stolen bases in 31 games.
Yoder Makes Debut
Freshman Derek Yoder made his collegiate debut against Evansville. He drew a four-pitch walk in his first plate appearance. He collected his first hit and RBI with a double just inside the bag at third.
3-Straight at Home vs. Evansville
The victory over Evansville marked the third-straight season the Breds have defeated the Purple Aces at Reagan Field.

The Breds hit the road for a midweek game at Evansville on April 22. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
