Weekend Weather
After rain through Friday morning, the weather will dry out for the rest of the weekend. Temperatures will hover around 60 degrees all weekend.

The Panthers have dominated the series over the last few years, winning each of the last seven games. EIU leads the all-time series 44-29, and 28-16 in Murray.
McGowan Reaches 5 Times
Matt McGowan reached safely in all five plate appearances against Southern Illinois. The junior went 3-for-3 with a double, two walks and four runs scored.
2-3-4 Deliver
The two through four hitters in the Breds lineup came through in a big way against Southern Illinois. The trio combined to go 7-for-12 with five RBIs and five runs scored.
Series Sweep of Peay
The Breds completed their first three-game series sweep at Austin Peay in school history. It is just the second three-game series sweep over the Govs, with the other coming at Reagan Field in 1987. MSU is the first team to seep APSU since Tennessee Tech in 2010, and the first to sweep the Govs in Clarksville since Southeast Missouri in 2001.
Errorless Weekend
The defense helped carry the Breds to victory as MSU did not commit an error on the weekend. On the flip side, APSU committed eight errors. The weekend marked the first time the Breds played a three-game series without committing an error since May 8-9, 2004 at APSU.
Nightime Victories
The victory over Austin Peay under the lights improved the Breds to 2-1 under the lights this season. MSU went 0-7 in night games a season ago.
Hargrove Delivers Blast
Michael Hargrove returned to the lineup in a big way this week as he belted a three-run shot to right field in the ninth inning to break open a close game in the series opener against Austin Peay. It was Hargrove's second three-run home run this season.
14 Hits in Opener vs. Austin Peay
Murray State pounded out 14 hits in the series-opening victory over Austin Peay. It marked the most hits the Breds have had against a Division I opponent this season.
On Deck
The Breds begin a four-game road trip as they play at Ole Miss on April 9 before heading to Jacksonville State on April 11-13.
