In his fourth season as the Racers' head coach, Prohm is part of a select group of 48 coaches that are participating in the Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge.
Infiniti, ESPN, NABC and the NCAA have teamed up to produce a one-of-a-kind charity competition. The goal of the event is to raise money for worthy organizations that are close to the heart of each coach. This is the fifth year that the fundraiser has been held.
For ten weeks, 48 coaches compete in a round robin bracket tournament for the chance to win $100,000 for their chosen charity.

Coach Prohm's charity is the Lupus Foundation of America.
"I am humbled and honored to be part of the Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge," Prohm said. "I want to use this opportunity to raise awareness about Lupus. This dreaded disease recently affected our family with the passing of my Mother-in-law."
The Lupus Foundation of America has a mission of solving the mystery of lupus, one of the world's cruelest, most unpredictable, and devastating diseases, while giving caring support to those who suffer from its impact. More information can be found at Lupus.org.
The Infiniti Coaches' Charity Challenge is divided into four rounds. The coach with the most votes will advance to the next round and earn more money for his charity.
