The Murray State volleyball team tied the program record for most consecutive home wins Saturday night inside Racer Arena as the Racers picked up their sixth sweep of OVC play, defeating SIU Edwardsville by scores of 25-13, 25-14 and 25-19. The win is MSU's 14^th straight at home, dating back to last season and ties the mark set during the 2002-03 seasons.

MSU (16-1, 6-0 OVC) hit .276 as a team and held the Cougars (3-13, 1-5 OVC) to just a .068 attack percentage overall as a team. The Racers also held one of the OVC's best hitters in Kristen Torre to just a .176 clip. Torre entered the night leading the league with a .372 hitting percentage.

Kristen Besselsen led the Racers with 14 kills and also hit .409. Scottie Ingram added five, while Audrey Lewis, Taylor Olden and Emily Schmahl all added four each. Hannah Stultz led the Racers with 18 assists in the victory, while Sam Bedard had 14 and a team-high two service aces. Ingram and libero Ellie Lorenz each had 11 digs to lead the Racer defense.

The Racers return to action next weekend and look to extend both their home and overall winning streaks as Belmont and Tennessee State come to town. MSU hosts Belmont Friday at 7 p.m. and TSU comes to Racer for a 2 p.m. match Saturday.
