Saturday's Match
The Murray State volleyball team looks to snap a 10-match losing streak to Morehead State Saturday morning at Racer Arena in the regular season finale. MSU hasn't beaten the Eagles since 2008 when they defeated them in the OVC Tournament 3-1.
Back-To-Back
The Racers secured their second straight outright OVC regular season title Wednesday night in their sweep over Austin Peay in Clarksville. MSU became just the seventh team in OVC history to win at least two consecutive outright conference championships. The Racers will host the OVC Tournament Nov. 19-21.
Senior Day
Saturday is Senior Day from Racer Arena as MSU says goodbye to four seniors playing their final regular season matches at home. Sam Bedard, Alyssa Lelm, Taylor Olden and Emily Schmahl will be honored prior to the match. This senior class is the third-most winningest class in program history with 72 victories and their .632 winning percentage is the best for a class in school history. The 50 wins and .862 winning percentage over the past two seasons are the best marks for a two-year stretch at MSU as well.

Murray State leads the nation this season in opponent hitting percentage at .121. Washington is second at .133. The Racers also rank fourth in kills per set (14.75) and fifth in assists per set (13.81). MSU's 17.55 digs per set rank seventh nationally and its 1.72 aces per are 11th-best in the country.
Scouting Morehead State
The Eagles are led by freshman Merideth Jewell who ranks second in the OVC with 455 kills (4.06 per set). The next-closest to Jewell on Morehead State in kills is Hannah Sigala with 264. Sigala ranks fourth in the league with a .315 hitting percentage. Jewell is also second on the team with 277 digs, one shy of Courtney Smith's team-leading 278.
