Racers Play Monday At Tulsa In NIT

The Murray State Racers have received their second round assignment in the National Invitation Tournament.

The Racers travel to Tulsa, Okla., for a Monday game at the Donald W. Reynolds Center against the Tulsa University Golden Hurricane.

ESPN will televise the 8 p.m. Central Time tip.

After an 81-66 win at home Tuesday, the Racers are 28-5 and heading to play a Tulsa team that also won at home 70-67 over William & Mary and are 23-10. Murray State is the No. 3 seed in their portion of the NIT bracket, while Tulsa is the No. 2 seed. The winner of Monday's game will be meeting one team that comes out of two matchups. No. 1 seed Old Dominion hosts No. 8 Charleston Southern and No. 4 Illinois State hosts No. 5 Green Bay. Both games are played Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. on ESPN3 and 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
