Murray State women's tennis team will continue their home stand as they face Eastern Kentucky Friday at 10 a.m. followed by Morehead State on Saturday at 10 a.m. MSU will face both Ohio Valley Conference opponents at Purcell Courts. This weekend's matchup is between the teams that were picked to finish top three in the OVC.

The Racers notched their sixth sweep of the season when they defeated UT Martin 7-0 at Purcell Courts on Tuesday. Andrea Eskauriatza defeated Hitomi Naito in the number one position for Naito's first ever conference loss. The sophomore was named OVC Freshman of the Year after going undefeated in conference last season. Murray State put together excellent teamwork and support to defeat the Skyhawks.

Eastern Kentucky is undefeated in conference play with their most recent win coming against Belmont who they took down 5-2. The Colonels were picked to finish second in the conference, just behind Murray State.Â

Morehead State also remains undefeated in conference and was picked to finish third. Before coming to play the Racers, the Eagles must travel to Austin Peay to face the Lady Govs.
