Rambo Set To Transfer
4/8/2015 6:29:00 PM | Men's Basketball
Murray State men's basketball coach Steve Prohm announced that Tyler Rambo will transfer out of the Racer program.
"I wish Tyler the best," Prohm said. "We support him in his decision. He's been a part of some very special teams in his four years here and we'll always be here for him. I wish him success in wherever he goes from here."
"I'm thankful for the opportunity to be in this program," Rambo said. "Racer Nation will always have a place in my heart and I'll remember the great seasons we had rather than my transfer. Coach Prohm and the rest of the coaches instilled values in me that I'm taking with me for the rest of my life. These are the things that will help me be successful no matter what career path I take."
Rambo, from Grandview, Mo., was part of an outstanding period of winning at Murray State. He helped the Racers to 73 wins in the last three seasons. Rambo took a redshirt season in 2011-12 and then appeared in 78 games in the last three seasons with a 3.6 points per game average and 1.5 rebound average.
