Pratt Named OVC Field Athlete of the Week

For the first time during the outdoor track & field season, Tonia Pratt was named Adidas® OVC Field Athlete of the Week.
Pratt picked up a pair of first-place finishes at the Margaret Simmons Invitational last weekend. She won the hammer throw with a toss of 196'03 which ranks first in the OVC this year. Her 59.82m is a personal best as well as the 24th best distance in NCAA Division I this season. Pratt also took the shot put title with a mark of 44'10.75" (13.68m).
Murray State track & field will travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky for the Hilltopper Relays Apr. 10-11.
