CBS Adds TSU at Murray State To TV Schedule

The Murray State men's basketball team was selected for another televised home game when the Ohio Valley Conference announced that the CBS Sports Network will carry the Racers' game at the CFSB Center when Tennessee State visits New Year's Eve (Dec. 31). The matchup between the Racers and Tigers is one of seven OVC games that were picked up by CBS.
The 11 a.m. tip marks the fifth New Year's Eve game for the Racers and the first since 1991 when Murray State played at Arkansas State. It's the first New Year's Eve home game for MSU since 1988 when the Racers hosted Evansville.
Recently, the Murray State home games with Belmont (Feb. 2, 8 p.m.) and SIUE (Feb. 16, 6 p.m.) were selected to air on ESPNU.
OVC games are going into a fourth season of having games televised by the CBS Sports Network. A total of 15 OVC games are now set to air on either an ESPN channel or CBS. The American Sports Network may also pick up some OVC games this coming season. A complete television schedule of televised games and those on the OVCDigitalNetwork.com will be released soon by the OVC.
CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports is available across the country through local cable, video and telco providers and via satellite on DirecTV Channel 221 and Dish Network Channel 158.
In the meantime, the Racers are full into fall workouts as they prep for an exhibition game at the CFSB Center (Nov. 3) against Berry College and the season opener (Nov. 11) at home against Illinois State.
