Stark Named OVC Co-Newcomer Of The Week

Murray State's Jonathan Stark was named Ohio Valley Conference Co-Newcomer of the Week for a second-straight week when the league's sports information directors voted on Monday.
The junior guard from Munford, Tennessee, shared the award this week with Tennessee State's Jordan Reed.
Stark led the Racers in scoring in all three of their games at Middle Tennessee and against Green Bay and UMKC played in Bowling Green, Ohio. He had high scoring games of 23 points, 21 and 17 as he averaged 20.3 points per game for the week. He just missed a pair of double-doubles and averaged eight assists for the week.
After a game at Bowling Green on Monday night, the Racers come home to host Alabama A&M Saturday in a 7 p.m. tip at the CFSB Center.
