Lawrence Wins Second OVC Honor

Murray State's Tamdra Lawrence took home the adidas® OVC Co-Female Track Athlete of the Week honor Wednesday, as announced by the league office. This is the second time this season she has won the award.
At the Pitt State Invite, Lawrence took fourth in the 60 meters and seventh in the 200 meters. She ran 7.63 to qualify her for the 60 meter finals. In the finals, Lawrence ran a personal best as she finished with a time of 7.57. The time ranks second all-time at Murray State and is currently the best time on the OVC. Lawrence also ran 24.71 in the 200 meters.
The Racers will be split for their next meet as they head to Carbondale, Illinois for the Carbondale Invite and South Bend, Indiana for the Mayo Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
