Win and You're In - Racers Travel to JSU

The Murray State women's tennis team looks to keep their postseason dreams alive as they travel to take on Jacksonville State on Friday. With a win, the Racers secure a position in the OVC Tournament.
MSU comes into the match after winning back-to-back matches. The Racers defeated the Bruins of Belmont 4-3 and the Tigers of Tennessee State 7-0. Haily Morgan was crucial in the Racers victories At the No. 3 singles court, Morgan has won her last five matches. Her and doubles partner Erin Patton have also won four straight matches at the No. 1 doubles court. In their last match, Patton and fellow senior Megan Blue finished their last career match at the Bennie Purcell Courts on a high note. Patton won her match at the No. 4 singles 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 and Blue won her match at the No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-2.
Jacksonville State comes into the match with a 4-4 record in conference and 6-15 overall record. The Gamecocks have lost their past two matches. JSU was defeated 6-1 by Eastern Illinois and 7-0 against SIUE. Jacksonville State's conference victories have come against Belmont, Tennessee State, Southeast Missouri, and  Morehead State, four teams MSU also beat.
Friday's match is set to begin at 1 p.m. at the JSU Tennis Courts
