The Murray State Racers come home to the CFSB Center with a lot of momentum after a 3-1 road trip over the last two weeks. MSU hosts the Eastern Kentucky Colonels Thursday in a 7 p.m. tip.
Two of the founding members of the Ohio Valley Conference are meeting for the 160th time and it's the Racers' second longest series, just behind the 174 meetings they've had with Tennessee Tech, also a founder of the OVC.
The Racers (10-9, 4-1 OVC) have won 5-of-6 games after they posted road wins last week at Eastern Illinois and SIUE. MSU has a two-game lead in the OVC West on Austin Peay, UT Martin and Southeast Missouri, all are 2-3.
EKU (8-12, 1-4 OVC) has lost 5-of-7 after they dropped a pair of home games to Tennessee State and Belmont. EKU is four games off the lead of OVC East leader Belmont who is 5-0. Â

Terrell Miller had quite the week for the Racers in road wins at Eastern Illinois and SIUE. He hit 59 percent from the field (13-of-22), 67 percent from the 3-point line (4-of-6) and 67 percent from the free throw line (6-of-9). He averaged 18 points and 11.5 rebounds.
If the Racers feel like they've been away from home a lot, they have good reason. MSU played 12-of-19 to start the season on the road. However, starting with the EKU game, they have seven of the final 11 regular season games on their home court. MSU is in its 19th season at the CFSB Center and are 227-39 (.853) all-time including 133-24 (.847) in OVC games. EKU is 3-13 all time at the CFSB Center. MSU is 22-2 at home in OVC play over the last four seasons.
Saturday, Murray State travels to Austin Peay (Jan. 21) to face the Austin Peay Governors. Both games will be seen on OVCDN. The day is a doubleheader day at the Dunn Center in Clarksville, Tenn., with the women's game tipping at 4 p.m. and the men's game at 6:30 p.m.
