Racer Tennis Battles With Louisville In Season Opener

The Murray State women's tennis team traveled to Bass-Rudd Tennis Center in Louisville, Kentucky for the 2017 season opener where they fell 7-0 to the Louisville Cardinals.
The Loncarevic sisters, freshmen, made their Racer debut with a doubles win over the Cardinals. Sara Loncarevic and Anja Loncarevic defeated Sena Suswam and Olivia Boesing 7-5.
The other two double teams went to Louisville. Claire Chang and Alina Schibol dropped a 4-6 match to Mariana Humberg and Abbie Pahz, while Sara Bjork and Hannah Rikard fell 3-6 to Ariana Rodriguez and Jessie Paul.
All singles matches went to the Cardinals in their 7-0 victory over the Racers.
Racers take to the road again on Friday, Feb. 3, to take on the Evansville Purple Aces.
