Coach Lollar On The Match
"Congrats to West Virginia on a new NCAA smallbore and aggregate records today," said head coach Alan Lollar after the match. "They are a great team and performed well today."
"I was happy with our air rifle, as we had all five counters above 590 and all did a good job," Lollar continued. "In smallbore, we struggled a little getting started, but I was happy with consistency through the last part of match. We ended with four people in 580s and that was good for us."
"I was really happy with Alathea. She had a good solid, all-around match and is becoming much more consistent. Dana had a nice day by staying consistent and broke 590 for the first time in air rifle. Kenzie had a good all-around match and was nice and solid. Everyone else was consistent at the level we have been at this season by shooting our average, so I really liked that."
