2/12/2017 9:27:00 PM | Women's Track and Field
The Murray State track & field team participated in the Chipotle Marshall Invitational over the weekend at the Chris Cline Indoor Athletic Facility at Marshall University in Huntingdon, West Virginia.
Â
This was MSU's second trip to Marshall and this time they competed with 18 teams from 11 conferences and nine states.
Â
With this meeting being the final one before the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships, Racer coach Jenny Swieton likes where her team is.
Â
"This was a great weekend for us," she said. "We had some great performances all the way around and with the conference meet coming up on the 24th, we've got quite a few that are competing at a high level. J.B. had a great meet in winning the hurdles and taking second in the long jump and we were one-two in the 200 which was pretty cool. Meagan is running well and was third in the 5K."
