The Murray Mile and Fastest Kid in Murray- March 31

The Murray State Track & Field/Cross Country program is pleased to announce plans for the the Fastest Kid in Murray contest and the Murray Mile which will be held Friday, March, 31. The event will begin at the conclusion of a the Margaret Simmons Invitational.

The fee to enter is $10 with all competitors receiving a shirt. The contest is open to all children up to age 13 and prizes will be awarded following the race in the following age groups: 4 & Under, 5 to 7, 8 & 9, 10 & 11, 12 & 13.

The Murray Mile race is set to begin first at 5:15 p.m.

The Fastest Kid in Murray contest is at 5:45 p.m.

At the conclusion of the events, MSU will be hosting a Track Day. The event is designed to give children the opportunity to participate in different events and be instructed by current Racer track and field student-athletes.

The deadline to register online for both events is March 28. Participants may also register the day off the races at 4:45 p.m.
