The Murray State Women's Tennis team dominated on Saturday (March 18) against the Tigers of Tennessee State 6-1 at the TSU Tennis Complex in Nashville, Tennessee.

MSU took home the doubles point after the double team of Claire Chang and Alina Schibol defeated Tiger's Taylor Patterson and Ashia Jones 6-0. The doubles duo of Jeanne Masson and Sara Bjork won their match 6-3 against Ani Popiashvili and Phyllicia Hemphill.

Murray State singles only dropped one match in the Saturday meet. Sara Bjork dropped the match 6-3, 6-3 to Pragati Natraj.

Claire Chang won her match 6-4, 6-4 against Tiger's Ani Popiashvili. Amina Hadzic took down her opponent, Taylor Patterson, 6-0, 6-1. Sara Loncarevic won 6-4, 6-2 against Ashia Jones. Alina Schibol took down Abhilasha Vishwanath 6-4, 6-1. Jeanne Masson won her match 6-0, 6-3 over Phyllicia Hemphill.

Murray State improves to 3-7 on the season.

The Racers travel to Lakeland, Florida on Monday (March 20) to take on the Mocs of Florida Southern.
