The Racers return home for four straight games at Reagan Field beginning with Lindenwood (Ill.) Tuesday at 4 p.m. MSU is coming off a wild 2-1 weekend at Eastern Illinois to record its second consecutive OVC series win. The Racers won the first two of the series 10-8 and 11-10, respectively before dropping the finale 7-5.
Inside the Matchup
This will be the third all-time meeting between the Racers and the Lynx with MSU looking for its firstever victory in the series. LU defeated MSU 11-8 last season in early March while back in 2015, the Racers lost 8-2. The Lynx enter Tuesday's contest riding a seven-game winning streak.
Closing in on History
Tyler Lawrence is just five hits shy of passing Wes Cunningham (2007-10) for the most hits all-time in program history. Cunningham tallied 237 lifetime knocks while Lawrence is at 233. Lawrence is also two RBIs shy of Cunningham for first on that list and two doubles away from becoming the all-time doubles leader in MSU history.

Murray native John Lollar is eighth all-time in career pitching appearances with 65. He is just one appearance shy of tying former teammate Cameron Finch (2011-14) for seventh on the all time list.
