Racers Fall To RedHawks

The Murray State women's tennis team was defeated by the Miami RedHawks 6-1 on Sunday in Hamilton, Ohio.
With the loss, Murray State slips to 1-3 overall while Miami (OH) advances to 4-5 on the season.
The lone point for the Racers came from Jeanne Masson in singles play, where she won in three sets. After splitting the first two sets 6-2 and 2-6, she had to battle to secure a 7-6 victory in the third set.
Although losing the doubles point, the Racers won one of the three matches, with Anja Loncarevic and Amina Hadzic winning 6-1 against the RedHawks.
Murray State returns home for a doubleheader on Sunday, February 25, as they host Southern Indiana at 9 am and Cumberland (Tenn.) at 5 pm.
