Stark Wraps Up Summer League Opportunity With Timberwolves

Former Murray State star Jonathan Stark wrapped up a four-game stay with the Minnesota Timberwolves at the NBA summer league event in Last Vegas at Cox Pavilion.
The 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year saw action on a Timberwolves squad that ended up going 2-2 after they dropped their first game in the event-ending tournament (July 11) to the Detroit Pistons 64-59.
Stark is getting a good look with Minnesota after he was picked up as an undrafted free agent.
He played an average of 16.2 minutes per game with a scoring average of 9.5 points per game on 42 percent shooting from the field and 30 percent from the 3-point line. He also grabbed nine rebounds, dished out six assists and had five steals.

Minnesota lost to Denver 70-69 in the opener of the week at Cox Pavilion.
Stark got into the game for four minutes at the end of the game and hit his only shot, a 3-pointer and one assist and rebound.

Minnesota beat Toronto 103-92 and Stark played 23 minutes and scored 16 points on 7-of-10 from the field. He was 1-of-3 from the 3-point line and 1-of-2 from the free throw line to go with one rebound and five assists.
With 7:45 remaining in the fourth quarter, Stark had a nice finish that was featured on ESPN.
