Stark Wraps Up Summer League Opportunity With Timberwolves

Former Murray State star Jonathan Stark wrapped up a four-game stay with the Minnesota Timberwolves at the NBA summer league event in Last Vegas at Cox Pavilion.

The 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year saw action on a Timberwolves squad that ended up going 2-2 after they dropped their first game in the event-ending tournament (July 11) to the Detroit Pistons 64-59.

Stark is getting a good look with Minnesota after he was picked up as an undrafted free agent.

He played an average of 16.2 minutes per game with a scoring average of 9.5 points per game on 42 percent shooting from the field and 30 percent from the 3-point line. He also grabbed nine rebounds, dished out six assists and had five steals.
