The Murray State soccer team returns to Cutchin Field for the first time this month for Ohio Valley Conference games this weekend against Tennessee Tech Friday at 3 p.m. followed by a matchup with Jacksonville State Sunday at 1 p.m. in Murray, Kentucky.
The Racers look to return to form after suffering their first OVC regular-season loss since October of 2014 after falling 2-1 in overtime to SIUE last Sunday. Despite dropping one streak, the Racers are still undefeated at home on the year and hold a 15-0-0 OVC regular-season record at Cutchin Field since 2015.
Murray State heads into the weekend averaging a solid 18.6 shots per contest and is backed by a versatile offense that boasts nine different Racers with goals this season. MSU has also posted nine scores while holding opponents to three goals in their four home matches this season.
