Racers vs CUSA & MTSU
The Racers are no strangers to taking on Middle Tennessee or Western Kentucky and teams from Conferfence USA. The Blue Raiders were members of the Ohio Valley Conference from 1952-2000 and Saturday's game marks the 142nd meeting for MSU against MTSU. WKU was a founding member of the OVC in 1948 and left the league after the 1981-82 season.
The Racers are 9-6 against CUSA teams since defeating Southern Miss in double overtime to win the 2011 Great Alaska Shootout.
Racers Fall At Missouri State - Freshman Robinson Shines
Demond Robinson's showing in the Racers' game Tuesday at Missouri State was impressive as the freshman from Montgomery, Alabama played 14 productive minutes off the bench. He scored six points on 2-of-2 shooting from the field and free throw line. He also added a pair of blocked shots. As the Racers try to improve on their offense, Robinson might be one of the players that can help the cause. The Racers took the lead against the bears with 47 seconds, but ended up dropping the game 71-69.
Final Exams Next Week
With the fall semester of 2019 nearly in the books, Murray State is ready to hold final exams next week. Graduation at the CFSB Center will take place Dec. 14.Â
After the game with MTSU, the Racers play Kennesaw State at home on Dec. 16.
