Tevin Brown On a Hot Streak
After going scoreless in the Racers' blowout over Kennesaw State (Dec. 16), MSU's Tevin Brown hasn't missed much at all in the last three games. MSU lost in overtime (Dec. 21) at Evansville where Brown tied his career-high with 31 points. He came back (Dec. 28) and scored 24 against Cumberland. Thursday against UT Martin, he scored 23 points on 4-of-6, part of a big night when the Racers went 10-of-15 for 67 percent. It was their best 3-point game since hitting 73 percent against Bethel (TN) in 2014.
Brown has scored 78 points for a 26.0 per game average. He is 14-of-24 from the 3-point line in this period for a percentage of .583. For the season, he is 40-of-88 (.455).
