Fletcher Garners OVC Weekly Honor

Murray State women's track and field athlete Meghan Fletcher has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Field Athlete of the Week, as released by the OVC on Wednesday.
Fletcher, who garners the award for the first time in her career, does so after winning the high jump at the Samford Bulldog Invitational last weekend in Birmingham, Alabama. The freshman from Grayslake, Illinois tied her season best with a leap of 1.70m, which is also tied for first in the OVC this season.
The Racers will be back in action on February 26th when they return to Birmingham to compete in the OVC Indoor Championships.
