Catching Up with Tamdra Lawrence

Once a year, Tamdra Lawrence would take less than 12 seconds to show just how dominant she was. From 2016 to 2019 at the OVC Outdoor Championships, no one crossed the finish line in the 100m before Lawrence. Throw in a couple wins in the 60m, 200m, and relay, and Lawrence finished her Murray State career with nine OVC gold medals becoming one of the most decorated athletes in Racer history.
After winning the 100m her first three years, Lawrence made history by becoming the first female in OVC history to win the 100m in four straight years. She also won the 200m and was part of the winning 4x100 relay team in 2019 as she helped the Racers win their first OVC Team Championship since 1992.
