Â
Racer Nation Invades Memphis
The Friday game in Memphis naturally would attract a large number of Murray State fans, but this weekend has an added bonus. The Memphis Grizzlies and former Racer All-America Ja Morant are having Murray State spirit night Saturday when the Grizzlies host the Houston Rockets at the FedExForum. Since Morant was a consensus All-America at Murray State from 2017-19 and was drafted by the Grizzlies as the No. 2 pick of the 2019 NBA Draft, large numbers of Racer fans have purchased tickets to keep up with the highest draft selection in the history of Murray State and the OVC.
