Quotables
From Distance Coach Jordan Wallace: "We were hit with some bad weather this past week which tested the teams flexibility - getting in workouts and easy runs on treadmills, cleared off parking lots, and some cross training during the limited facility hours. Then we made the last minute decision to switch up our meet schedule and chose to race an indoor 5k Saturday rather than compete at our originally planned 5k/8k cross country meet on Friday. Throughout all of those obstacles the team has been resilient and came together for a good race. Some have been struggling a bit mentally to stay engaged in the second half of such a long race and today it was great to see improvement in that area. We are just over a week away from the OVC Championships and I think we are ready to handle whatever the weather, course, and competition throws at us."
