Racers Fall in Straight Sets at SEMO

Murray State loses 3-0 to Southeast Missouri at Houck Field House on Mar.
The Murray State volleyball team (5-10) fell Sunday night to the Southeast Missouri Redhawks (13-2) in three sets.
The second-place Redhawks extended their winning streak to 13 over the Racers as they won 19-25, 23-25, 16-25.
Jayla Holcombe notched eight kills in the match. Kolby McClelland tallied six and Morgan Price contributed four.
Three Racers picked up double-digit digs. Becca Fernandez led the way with 16, followed closely behind by Callie Anderton with 14 and Kolby McClelland with 12.
Murray State will look to bounce back on Monday afternoon, facing the Redhawks once again at 2 p.m. at Houck Field House.
