- After shooting a season-low 28.1-percent last Saturday at Alabama A&M, the Racers returned to form Wednesday night by going 24-for-48 from the floor for an even 50-percent.
 - Murray State was an impressive 62.5-percent from 3-point range (10-for-16) Wednesday night against the Skyhawks, which will go down as the fourth-best single-game performance in school history. Coincidentally, the Racers shot 61.5-percent in each of their two games against UT Martin last season, which now rank as the fifth best single-game performances in school history.
 - The Racers also returned to form at the free throw line Wednesday, shooting a blistering 92.9-percent by going 13-for-14 in the game. Katelyn Young led the free throw efforts on the evening by going a perfect 8-for-8 at the charity stripe.
 - The 19-point win by the Racers Wednesday was the largest over the Skyhawks since 2008. The win also marked the first back-to-back victories over UT Martin at the Elam Center since the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons. Additionally, it also marked the first three-game win streak over UT Martin in the overall series since the 2008-09 and 2009-10 seasons.
 - Young led Murray State in the game by scoring a career-high tying 31 points, a mark she had reached on two previous occasions. She paired the 31 points with a season-high tying 12 rebounds for her second consecutive double-double.
 - Macey Turley followed Young with 11 points of her own, by going 4-for-4 on the night from the floor and a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range.
