Racers Travel to Huntsville for Clash at Toyota Field

Murray State Baseball Will Take on Alabama A&M on Wednesday at Angels Double-A Affililiate Ballpark
Murray State (14-8) baseball is set to travel to Huntsville, Alabama on Wednesday afternoon for a matchup wiith Alabama A&M at 3 pm at Toyota Field, home of the Rocket City Trash Pandas. The Racers have played two schools out of the state of Alabama with a three-game series with SEC opponent Alabama and against North Alabama. The game on Wednesday will be the Racers first neutral-site game of the season.

The Murray State offense is led by graduate second baseman Jordan Holly who is batting .333 on the year and collected his 100th Murray State hit on Sunday. Outfielder Jake Slunder leads the team with 28 hits and five triples while outfielder Seth Gardner leads the Racers in RBIs (20). In the bullpen, MSU has seven arms that sport a 2.90 ERA or lower. Jordyn Naranjo leads the Murray State staff with a 1.29 ERA in 14.0 innings pitched on the year.
