Racer Women's Cross Country's 2022 Campaign Starts at Belmont Opener

Murray State women's cross country tightens their shoelaces to run at Belmont Opener, Sept. 2.
Seven Racers are set to run the 5,000m race at Nashville. The roster will feature 12 returners and five newcomers. Among them, is Hope Ware who finished 24th at the OVC Championship, last year.
Junior, Kristin Dent is familiar with the course, she marked a time of 19 minutes 43 seconds in the spring of 2021.Breanna Day is also not stranger to the course as she set a time of 20 minutes and 41.5 seconds the same year as Dent.
The Racers will only compete in 6,000m races after the Belmont Open.
